Shipping policy
Canadian orders ship minimum once per week (typically twice) if using ChitChats/Stallion Express/DragonFly (aka Canada Tracked). Canadian shipments using Canada Post/Purolator/UPS ship next business day.
I am not just a book seller, I am also a book collector. I know the frustration of finding a special book for a decent price and discovering that shipping is astronomical. I try to get it to you as reliably yet inexpensively as possible. Within Canada there is a way of sending 1 thin book as an "all paper document" - i.e. an oversized letter (less than 2cm thick and less than 200g) for much less than normal rates. This option is not tracked but is reliable (Small Paperback Canada). Some shipping options are delivered similarly to Amazon packages (left at your door) - if you have problems with porch pirates or delivery drivers finding your location, let me know and I will use Canada Post specifically.
USA Customers - shipments are handled by a customs broker/mail forwarder (ChitChats) to reduce the cost. Delivery is fully tracked.
United Kingdom - Post NL (Netherlands) has an inexpensive and reliable service to ship packages from North America to the UK that is fully tracked and bypasses the EU system described below.
Other International Customers - Due to the rising costs and complexity of International Shipping (many countries are now tracking all incoming packages and require upfront payment of duties/taxes) I am now using a service that provides details at checkout for all duties, taxes and shipping costs specific to your country, in your local currency if possible. This should allow clarity at the time of purchase and seamless border crossing/customs handling with no surprise charges. If a less expensive method becomes available in the future, I will integrate it as soon as possible.
