Before there was Hame, there was Home.
Before Calder City became a world of rain-soaked streets and private investigators, it was part of something much larger.
And before the people living inside the mountain became The Engineers, their ancestors helped build the greatest infrastructure project humanity had ever attempted.
Prequel tells the story of Spine World before the separation.
Humanity found a remarkable planet and set about making it a home. Mountains were explored. Cities were built. Vast facilities were constructed inside the Spine. Systems were created to manage a world.
And they worked.
Then something happened.
For thousands of years, three populations lived apart, each developing its own culture and understanding of the world.
In the west, Home became Hame, the world of The Adventures of Markis and Johnous.
In the east, Calder City became the rain-soaked home of Bill Shea – Private Eye.
Inside the Spine, generations remained beneath the mountain, becoming the society encountered in The Engineers.
None of them knew the others were still there.
Until two doors opened.
Reunion brought those three worlds together.
Prequel tells us how they became three worlds in the first place.
